![]() ![]() Just curious, now that I can control the case and cpu fan what should they be running around. I've been trying everything because my cpu fan started spiking up and down about every 10 seconds. It claims to make estimates only on the temperature, not the actual temperature readings, but in fact, it is very, very accurate! Your welcome! Speedfan has also been a great help to me ever since i first got my old helped me figure out what temps my old video card would be rising to when i was breaking it in for high temps (since it had only a tornado heatsink to cool itself, it never had a fan), it helped me out with diagnosing the overheating damage on a card i just recently recieved my replacement for, and it also helped me find out just how effective the homemade air duct i built for my old video card was. ![]() It has no problem controlling it, but it seems more like a normal/full speed switch. Ĭonfirmed! I was able to control the fan of an Optiplex 745 running Windows 7 with SpeedFan 4.49 using the "Enable Dell support" checkbox on the Option tab of the Configure dialog. ![]() I was able to so this with speedfan with no problem! I just went into options and stumbled upon a checkbox that allows for compatibility with not only dell notebooks as the checkbox works across almost every dell computer, desktop OR laptop! Even though my speedfan is too messed up to use the CPU fan any more, and i am too lazy to re-install speedfan, it worked up until i had to re-install my O.S. 40 degrees is perfectly fine for a hard drive. you need a newer pc to be able to change fan speed. Ok,I've done it.but HW monitor still doesn't allows me to change anything!!And I've register,HDD temp is 40C.is that to high cause I'm just using internet? ![]()
